When your MUA is like a wizard with a wand, you got no option but to slay! Meet Lediju Karam omodolapo; a Male Prof. MUA

There is just something I like, about showcasing men that dominates women’s field. There is just something about their work, like a breath of Fresh Air. Most of my friends who has ever been attended to by a Guy, either for makeup, Hair or Nail art, said; they prefer the guy to ladies, because, they are usually Calm, takes complaints without malice and are quick to apologize.

Therefore, coming across, the work of Male Prof. MUA Lediju Karam Omodolapo, the CEO of Kharmzy, I was determined to learn more about him and his brand. We had a brief Chit chat, read excerpts below….

 KMB: Can we know you?

Kharmzy: I'm Lediju Karam omodolapo. A Graduate of Lagos state university.

KMB: What do you do?
 
Kharmzy: I’m a makeup artist and hairstylist
 
KMB: What inspired you going into the beauty profession in particular?
 
Kharmzy: The Need to be self reliant, spend my time judiciously and my genuine love for creativity.

KMB: What is the name of your brand and how old is it now?
 
Kharmzy: The brand name is Kharmzy and its 2 yrs now.
 
KMB: How has the market reception since starting out?

Kharmzy: The reception has been really favorable even beyond my expectations.

KMB: How did you get most of your clients?

 
Kharmzy: My clients are mostly gotten from the social media pages, when they see and love the pictures I share. And I also get some via referrals.
KMB: Who are some of the people who have influenced you throughout your career?
 
Kharmzy: Oshewabeauty and Eeswatmakeovers and My parents.
 
KMB: How long have you been a makeup artist and how did you get your start in the industry?
 
Kharmzy: I've been in d industry for close to two years now. I started up with bridal inspiration photo shoots which serves as a medium to showcase what I can do as a brand
 

KMB: what can you say is your most memorable experience since you became a makeup artist?
 
Kharmzy: My memorable moments were the instance when my crushes in the industry Oshewa and Eeswat accredited my work and gave me effrontery to keep working. They also facilitated kharmzy.
 
KMB: Do you actively do both hair styling and make up? Or more of either one?
 
Kharmzy: I started with hairstyling in 2011, from million braids to fixing, then to hairstyling proper.
I do more of makeup these days because I'm a fan of creativity and makeup artistry says it all.
 
KMB: What you aspire with kharmzy in say 5 years?

Kharmzy: I see myself greater than my expectations and as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs in less than 5 years.

KMB: Any advice for upcoming entrepreneurs?

Kharmzy: My advice: Time waits for no man. You can only gain and maintain your respect by being self-reliant. In order to be, you have to discover who you really are on the good side, discover something accountable you can spend your time, mind and hands doing. Make researches, show respect to the people that have been in the same field of your aspiration or similar.
Above ALL, Be PRAYERFUL. Pray to be guided through the right path when in doubt.
