Food elicits many different reactions in people. Some people are drawn by taste, of course. Others, however, might be tempted by its smells and visual appearance.
For thousands of years, people have sought not only to make food taste better, but great strides also have been made in making food smell and look better. After all, no one wants to eat something that doesn’t look appetizing!

It’s one thing to make a plate of spaghetti visually appealing. It’s a whole other matter, however, to turn it into a true work of art. People who dedicate their time to turning edibles into visuals are often called food artists and that is the exact word I can use to describe Linda Adeoye, The Founder Of Splurgeon Food Services.

Splurgeon Food: I am a food enthusiast, Am a caterer, and much more.

Kemi Mobuse: What inspired you choosing the food Industry?

Splurgeon Food: I love food, everyone around me knows and I also love cooking and experimenting with recipes. I gravitated towards the industry naturally. You can say it chose me

Kemi Mobuse: Why catering especially?
Splurgeon Food: Catering now is me making money from my passion. I loved cooking for lots of people. I like to see people eat good food

Kemi Mobuse: What is the name of your brand and how old is it?

Splurgeon Food: The name is Splurgeon and Its 2 years old.

Kemi Mobuse: What inspired this choice of Name in particular?
Splurgeon Food: Its Splurge On, like to continue splurging
Kemi Mobuse: How has the market reception been since inception?

Splurgeon Food: Reception has been good. Like all businesses we have had teething problems but it’s a learning curve
Kemi Mobuse: What major challenges have you had to deal with since inception? And what can you say those challenges taught you?
Splurgeon Food: Breaking into new markets has been challenging but we have learnt that persistence and good product/service pays off and of course patience.
Kemi Mobuse: How do you get the majority of your clients?

Splurgeon Food: Referrals mostly, social media has helped a lot too

Kemi Mobuse: Do you currently have an outlet or you cater strictly by order? And do you cover all occasions?
Splurgeon Food: No we cater strictly by order. All occasions, we haven’t turned down any yet.
Kemi Mobuse: Lol! What can you say is your favourite food combination?

Splurgeon Food: No favourite food combo oooo. I’m a foodie through and through.

Splurgeon Food: No favourite food. I love any food that is good
