Are you bored with life? Then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.Dale Carnegie (1888-1955) American writer.

This quotes for me best sums up, what is to be done, when we find ourselves idle. and no one put it into better practice than female entrepreneur Ms. Oyindamola who is the CEo and Founder of the Eeda's Atelier brand with two subsidaries under it.

KMB had a very interesting and revealing interview with the enterprising young lady, and it is indeed an eye opener...read below..

KMB: Can we meet you? What do you do?

E A Cosmetics: My name is Oyinda, brand owner of the Eeda's Atelier brand, head MUA at E.A Makeup and also MD of EA tools.

EA tools is an indigenous makeup tools manufacturing company that produces makeup brushes and very innovative makeup tools
@e.a.makeup, @eedasateliertools)

KMB: What inspired your going into the makeup field?

E A Cosmetics: Inspiration to be honest was boredom...lol

I just couldn't stand being idle and when the job hunt seemed futile, I decided to keep my hands busy. SO, I Started working on YouTube videos doing personal makeup and I gradually grew the brand to what it is today.

KMB: Why this profession in particular?

E A Cosmetics: I developed Passion for the profession along the line because, I absolutely love beauty and everything it entails

KMB: How old is your brand and how has the market reception been?

E A Cosmetics: Although the brand is not even close to where we foresee but it’s been an amazing journey
The makeup company is about 2 years and the tools company is 1 year.

KMB: What major challenges have you had to deal with since inception? And how did you cope?

E A Cosmetics: Working on new products and innovations...the Nigerian beauty market is so fertile ...so it's a very good planting ground.

Challenges for the tools brand is marketing basically, getting it to the right eyes and hand....but gradually we are getting there

KMB: What exactly is the Eeda's Atelier brand about? Are you into production of any cosmetics for instance?

E A Cosmetics: The EA brand is a parent brand with 2 subsidiaries at the moment...(makeup services and makeup tools manufacture)
So these two companies work as separate companies under the EA brand

KMB: How was starting out for you capital wise?

E A Cosmetics: I sold my first car 😂😂😂 It was tough!!!...but what is worth doing at all....is worth doing well, so we are gradually pulling through..

KMB: What can you say being an entrepreneur has taught you?

E A Cosmetics: Hmmmmm! Integrity, accountability, amazing customer service, patience, prudence among others

KMB: What motivates you to do better?

E A Cosmetics: My motivation...my clients (most of them eventually become friends), my friends/ family and my role model (Madam Banke Meshida-Lawal)

KMB: What do you aim for achieve with your brand in say 5 years?

E A Cosmetics: 5 years...the Eeda's Atelier Empire...(becoming a house hold name to be reckoned with), a sustainable makeup brand with more indigenous products. A truly Nigerian brand with the international affluence. Taking the Nigerian name places!!! Most importantly, impacting lives through transfer of skill and employment

KMB: Any advice for upcoming entrepreneurs?

E A Cosmetics: Advice of upcoming entrepreneurs (like me!!!)...advice for us all. Depend on God and Just Do it!!!!... What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger... failure is just a part of the game...not the end...keep going!!!
